Up-and-coming reporter Lillian Lewis lives at least three lives: She’s the daughter of a prominent Black family by day. A bar-hopping butch lesbian by night. And she passes as white at work, where she’s stuck writing fluffy “women’s pieces.� When a mysterious masked woman starts protecting the queer bars from police raids, Lillian goes after the story that could launch her career.
