Up the River

The village of Triangleton sits at the edge of the sea.
Bound by fog and forest, it's residents know little about what's up the river.
A river flowing north, teeming with lamprey, that feeds into the maw of a giant grumpy iceberg of an ancient thug of a god.
The animals know what's up. The humans don't. Except for a teen named Gem, an old wise woman, and a group of prisoners aka the Mages of Plover Bay.
